What does SOJAO mean?
SOJAO means ‘go to sleep’ in Hindi and pays tribute to the Indian cotton farmers behind our best-selling bed sheets. We wish the best night’s rest for not only our customers, but also for our entire supply chain.
What is organic cotton?
Organic cotton is grown in a way that's friendly to the environment. It's not made using any harmful chemicals, pesticides or genetically modified seeds. Plus, it's super soft, easy to care for and long-lasting.
What does GOTS-certified mean?
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading processing standard for organic textiles worldwide. It's all about taking care of the environment and making sure everyone involved in the process is treated fairly. It's also backed by independent third-party certification, so you know it's legit! Why is certified organic cotton better?
Certified organic cotton means increased durability and that it only gets softer with every wash. It's great for farmers and the environment, and it's also safe for you and your family. Sleeping on it ensures that no pesticides or toxic chemicals come in contact with your skin, which is especially important if you have sensitive skin or allergies like eczema. Furthermore, when you purchase GOTS-certified products, you're supporting fair working conditions and ensuring that no child labor is involved. It's a win-win!
Where does SOJAO source organic cotton from? And why?
After searching high and low for the perfect material, we finally found it in India! They're one of the biggest organic cotton producers out there and have a long history of making amazing textiles. We also only work with GOTS-certified factories to make sure we're bringing you the very best quality with planet and people in mind.

What is the thread count of SOJAO bed sheets?
We're proud to say SOJAO bed sheets are made with 100% long staple organic cotton and weaved using single-ply yarn, to a 300 thread count. Our bed sheets are the perfect balance of being lightweight, breathable, super soft and durable.
What is thread count and how should it affect my buying decision?
Thread count is how the textile industry measures the number of threads in a square inch. But, it's not the only thing that matters when it comes to softness and durability. SOJAO's bed sheets are made from 100% organic cotton with single-ply yarn weaving, which makes them super comfy and luxurious!
How to wash bed sheets?
Our bed sheets are designed to last with minimum care:
• Machine wash on gentle cycle
• Wash with like colours
• Do not bleach
• Tumble dry low & remove promptly
• Line dry for best results
• Iron on low temperature if needed

What types of dyes are used in all SOJAO bed sheets?
We care about you and the environment, which is why we only use safe, low impact dyes that are GOTS-certified and AZO-free. Plus, our white sheets are bleached with oxygen-based, not chlorine-based, bleaches. So, you can sleep soundly knowing you're making a planet-friendly choice!
What is Sateen?
Sateen is a type of weave that's four-over-one-under. It's what gives our Classic bed sheets its signature soft, buttery-smooth, luxurious finish.
What is Percale?
Percale is a one-over, one-under weave. With its tight, closely woven pattern, it creates a Crisp feel that is incredibly durable and lightweight, and hence widely used for hotel sheets. We just love the way it rustles!
Should I pick Classic Sateen or Crisp Percale?

Do SOJAO bed sheets wrinkle?
Yes they do, but that's a good thing! Our sheets are not treated with formaldehyde resin or any toxic anti-wrinkling finishes. These irritants are actually harmful to the skin and won’t wash out. Wrinkles on your bed sheets will be reduced with every wash and we also recommend line-drying your bed sheets to prevent significant wrinkling.
Do SOJAO bed sheets come pre-washed?
Our bed sheets can be used immediately! However, we do recommend that you wash them first if you have any skin sensitivities.
Will SOJAO bed sheets shrink after the first wash?
Rest assured, SOJAO bed sheets are slightly oversized to account for the slight natural shrinkage that will occur during the first few washes. After that, your bed sheets should fit perfectly!
How deep are SOJAO fitted sheets?
Our fitted sheets cater up to 40cm (16") deep and has a full elastic band all around to ensure it fits even the thickest mattress with a topper.
What are the dimensions of SOJAO bed sheets?

I have a King bed and I use large-sized pillows. How can I get large-sized pillowcases?
Simply head over to our Bed Builder Bundle Set or our Bed Builder Sheet Set to make your pillowcase size selection! Kindly note that an additional top-up amount is required.
Do your bundle sets come with bolster cases?
We're not sure if everyone uses a bolster so these can be added separately to your cart here!
Do you sell bed sheet sets without the duvet cover?
Yes we do! Our sheet sets here include just a fitted sheet and a pair of pillowcases.
Can I choose a bundle set with different colours for the fitted sheet, duvet cover, and pillowcases?

Where does SOJAO ship from?
We ship from a sunny island called Singapore! Commonly referred to as the "Little Red Dot", we are a spicy mixed pot of races and religion bubbling together with our colloquial tongue of "Singlish".
Where does SOJAO ship to?
We ship to anywhere in the world!
Singapore: Deliveries are free. You can also opt for same-day Express delivery for $25.
Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand: We offer both Standard and Express shipping.
Rest of the world: We offer Express shipping with our international courier partners to get your order quickly to you.
We ship your orders duties delivered paid (DDP) to Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Australia for a fuss-free experience. Please note that for shipping to Thailand, there are additional customs duties you’ll need to pay but we’ll help in liaising with the customs office on your behalf.

Do you have same day delivery? How soon can I expect my order with Express delivery for Singapore?
Yes we offer same-day deliveries in Singapore with our Express delivery option for a flat fee of $25. Deliveries will be made on the same day if you place an order before 11am on any Monday - Thursday. Orders made after 11am, or on any Friday - Sunday will be delivered the next working day.
Please note that we do not pack any orders on weekends or public holidays.
How much is shipping to Malaysia?
Hello, friends across the border! We offer free Express shipping for orders above SGD$300! There’s a flat fee Express shipping charge of SGD$10 for orders under SGD$300 and SGD$25 for orders under SGD$150. If you don’t mind waiting a little longer for your order, there’s also a free Standard shipping option, without any minimum spend. Orders to Malaysia are shipped with customs duties and taxes paid by us (DDP), and we'll take care of getting your order to your doorstep safely without any further hassle. How much is shipping to other countries in the Asia Pacific?
It's free Express shipping to these other countries if you spend above SGD$300: Brunei, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Macau, New Zealand, Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Please keep in mind, though, that you'll be responsible for any additional duties and taxes charged by your country, if any. How much is shipping internationally to everywhere else?
Our shipping rates are calculated at checkout and are based on DHL's rates, so you can trust that you are getting competitive pricing with no additional charges. We have chosen to partner with DHL as our international courier outside of the APAC region due to their proven track record of reliability and fast delivery times. Please keep in mind though, that you'll be responsible for any additional duties and taxes charged by your country, if any.
Do I need to pay for international duties and taxes?
Yes, you have to pay applicable customs and duties fees levied by your destination country, if any. Read more on Shipping & Returns.
What if I refuse to pay for the customs and duties fees when the parcel arrives?
Please note that if you choose to reject a parcel due to import duties or taxes, or if you're uncontactable and our shipping partners are unable to deliver the parcel, SOJAO will also not be liable for the postal charges, return shipment costs, customs charges, and handling fees incurred. I'm in Singapore, can I do a self-collection?
Yes you can do so at our Home Goods Stores! Simply select 'Store Pick Up' and choose your desired store for self-collection. If you require your items urgently, do call us at +65 8894 3341. and we'll do our best to expedite your pick-up collection!
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Paypal, GrabPay and all debit and credit cards.

How can I cancel an order?
We're sorry to hear that! Simply drop us an email to hello@sojao.shop with your order number within 24 hours from your purchase.
Can I send my order as a gift? Can I add a gift note?
Yay, thank you for thinking of us for your gifting! We can include your gift note just for you! Simply select the 'It's a Gift' option at checkout and write your message. Or, email us at hello@sojao.shop with your order number within an hour of placing your order. Unfortunately, if the item has already shipped, we won't be able to do so!
RETURNS
What is SOJAO's return policy?
We really hope you'll love your SOJAO items! For any reason you don’t, we offer a one-time return or exchange within 30 days of delivery, as long as the items are in their original packaging, unused, and unwashed. Just email us at hello@sojao.shop with your order number, and we'll assist you with the next steps! Please bear in mind the following:
- You’ll be required to personally return your items or use a courier service to our Home Goods Store.
- If your return is not in its original packaging, we may require additional processing time to further inspect it and ensure it meets our return criteria. This could take 3-5 working days. We'll keep you informed!
- You’ll only be allowed to exchange once.
If the return is successful, you can opt to receive a refund in your original payment method or a gift card. You can also exchange the item for something else (please be aware that you might need to pay the difference if it's of higher value). If the exchanged item is worth less, we'll refund you the difference.
However, please remember that we cannot accept returns or exchanges if the items have been washed, used, or if it's outside of the 30-day return policy. If a discount code was applied, it will not be available for use again. The original shipping fee and taxes are also non-refundable. Additionally, we do not offer returns or exchanges for consignment items from other vendors or orders made during our Acceptance Sale or under promotions such as Last Call.
How can I return my online order or in-store purchase?
Please email hello@sojao.shop in advance with your order number to inform us of your return. Once your email on the return is confirmed by our team, you can then proceed to personally return your items or use a courier service to our Home Goods Store.
If you're using a courier service, please include our contact number +65 8894 3341 in case they need to reach us. If you're returning from outside of Singapore, you may wish to mark 'returned goods' on the consignment note to avoid extra fees.
Just a friendly reminder that we have a strict 30-day return policy for both in-store and online purchases and the items should be in their original packaging, unused, and unwashed. We reserve the right to decline a return that does not meet these criteria successfully.
Can I exchange or return a gift?
We really hope you'll love your SOJAO items! Are there any exceptions to your return policy?
Every SOJAO order is subjected to the strictest quality inspections, so you can enjoy them for years to come. If you receive a defective item or an incorrect item, please accept our sincerest apologies and kindly email us at hello@sojao.shop with your order number immediately. Attaching a picture of the issue would be helpful too. We'll then assist you with the next steps! Please note that orders made during our Acceptance Sale, or under promotions such as Last Call, are not eligible for any returns or exchanges, under any circumstances.
The item that I'm looking to exchange for is out of stock. What are my options?
We're sorry about that! We can give you a gift card refund and notify you when the item you want is available again. You can use the gift card online when you're ready, or even sooner if you change your mind. Just email us at hello@sojao.shop with your order number, and we'll help you out. Please keep in mind that we can't take back washed or used products.

Yes absolutely! Gift cards can be sent by email or sms, so you can choose to provide a phone number instead.

Do you have a rewards program and how does it work?
Yes, we do! Sign up for our Sleep Easy Club in just a minute to unlock exclusive perks such as rebates, discounts, and birthday treats.
How can I get 5% off my first order?
Sign into your Sleep Easy Club account and click on the “Rewards” tab at the top. Scroll down and click on the “5% off” square under “Ways to Earn Points” to reveal the code that you can use at checkout online. If you’re using it in-store, just let our friendly retail team know and they’ll help you out!

If I have multiple email addresses, can I combine my points?

How can I update my profile with my birthday to get the birthday points?
You can log in here and update your birthday on the rewards page of your account. Under "Ways to Earn Points", you can update your birthday in the second box. Birthday points are added to your account on your actual birth date at SGT 9pm (GMT+8).
I’ve updated my birthday but I don't see the any points awarded?
Birthday points are added to your account on your actual birth date at SGT 9pm (GMT+8). If your birthday has already passed, the 100 Sleep Easy Points (the equivalent of $10) will be reflected in your account on your next birthday. One more thing to look forward to next year!
My account was set up long before the update of my birth date. Shouldn’t you award the points accordingly?
Birthday points will only be reflected in your account on the actual birthdate itself at SGT 9pm (GMT+8) after you have input your birth date. If your birthday has already passed, the 100 Sleep Easy Points (the equivalent of $10) will be reflected in your account on your next birthday. We'll be sure to celebrate the next one with you and award the points accordingly!
My birthday is today but I don't see any points awarded?
